Patchwork Parents- LIKE US ON FACEBOOK!

Patchwork Parents, previously known as Quilts for the Congo, aims to provide vulnerable children with an individual, hand-made quilt. These quilts have an important function in mitigating children's trauma symptoms: under the quilts the children imagine being literally covered in love and find a refuge of safety from which they can draw strength. Each beautifully hand-sewn quilt offers a reminder to children who have known a cruel and loveless world that they are indeed valuable and worthy of love. Every person who has lovingly sewn together these quilts has provided this gift. Patchwork Parents is working hard to send quilts to the children iin Congo every 12 to 18 months. We invite you and your sewing group to get involved.

Please consider: Creating a quilt using our instructions, or donating material or wadding.
